BOTODESIGNS
After college I spent a year teaching angsty teens and energetic 6-year olds in Nara, Japan. I lived in a small town and traveled to big towns. I filled up a sketchbook with characters and ideas that would become Botodesigns, a colorful world where robots and plants enjoy the scenery, and sometimes get lost in it.
Drawing on my experience of repeatedly changing majors in art school, I paint, print, sew, package, and otherwise put together the friendly Botos and their adventures.
